LOL so I bought some pills at a Central Market today, and I'll tell you the ingredients and you tell me what you think about them.. they're from "Planetary Formulas" and they're for 'Digestive Comfort' - 'Chinese Classic for Supporting Digestion' - 'Herbal Supplement'
In order...
Poria Sclerotium
Magnolia Bark
Chinese Giant Hyssop Leaf
Job's Tears Seed
Bai-Zhu Atractylodes Rhizome
Fragrant Angelica Rot
Kudzu Root
Leavened Wheat
Germinated Rice
Trichosanthes Root
Chrysantheumum Flower
Gastrodia Tuber
Chinese Mint Leaf
and then it says other ingrediends:
dibasic calcium phosphate, steraric acid, microcrystalline cellulose, colloidal silicon dioxide, modified cellulose gum, and magnesium sterarate
they have 47 mg for every 2 tablets
your thoughts???
Will these Chinese pills really help me poo? :)?
I'm with the first answerer -- just eat some prunes, broccoli, carrots, bran cereal, etc. That way, you know exactly what's going in!
Reply:I am with others: more fiber, more water, more exercise, no bogus pills.
One should not support chinese medicine anyway: not only it is mostly ineffective and even dangerous, but most importantly supporting it means supporting trade of endangered animals and plants. For example sharks fins, bear pile, tiger bones, sea horses etc. are in high demand because of traditional chinese medicine. Supporting this superstition is harmful whether one is directly using these controversial products or not.
Reply:Why not just eat foods that are high in fiber?

make tarot cards too and sell them
Reply:Most of this deck is good, but i am not very good at telling you exactly what is wrong because i'm only specialized in Black type cards, i think you need less creatures though
Reply:awsome thoes cards are sweet. good luck in what ever your doing.
Reply:Wow!! That's awesome....I wish I had those
Reply:No it's bad, sorry. You have too many cards in the deck (43 spell and 23 land, 66 total). You need to take out 5 or six spell cards. There's a lot of tweaking needed to be done to make it a strong deck. Now 66 isn't that many but with your land count, you may have trouble drawing lands.
Just a few things to start with:
You have too many single cards (some singles are OK), you should have multiple copies so you have a better chance in drawing them. If you slim it down to 60 cards and you only have one Doubling Season in the deck you have a 1 in 48 chance of drawing it by the time you can cast it. And you want it out as early as possible for when you are making token creatures. If you have 4 in your deck then by your fifth turn instead on a 1 in 48 chance you now have a 1 in 12 chance of drawing one if you haven't already drawn one. If you want help LMK. I am available to email.
Second version looks much better at a quick glance. I would take out 1 Scion and the 2 Lantern Kami and put in 3 Sprout Swarm.
Reply:As Big meantioned, you have too many of 1 card. This deck would be much better if you had 3-4 of each card in your deck. I recommend upping your count. And since you are running 66 cars total your gonna have to throw out 6 cards or at least sidebord them.
Reply:The deck looks pretty fun, but the problem is that due to you having so many singles as a poster above me mentioned, it's going to be hard to draw the ones you want.

You might be a redneck if...
More than one living relative is named after a Southern Civil War general.
You think the stock market has a fence around it.
You think the O.J. trial was the big Sunkist and Minutemaid taste test.
You've ever lost a loved one to kudzu.
Your boat has not left the driveway in 15 years.
Your front porch collapses and kills more than three dogs.
Your coffee table used to be a telephone cable spool.
You keep a can of Raid on the kitchen table.
You've ever used a toilet seat as a picture frame.
Your home has more miles on it than your car.

Do you go to diabetes camp?
i go to camp kudzu, but i was just wondering what other great camps are out there for us?
Do you go to diabetes camp?
No, I didn't know there was such a thing. I just camp like regular people.
Reply:There are several diabetes camps. I believe information about the different ones is on the ADA website (diabetes.org).
No, I never went to diabetes camp. I was diagnosed in my mid-20s and I'm too old to be a camper. However, I thought about looking into being a counselor next summer. As a diabetic EMT, I think it would be a great experience.
When I was younger, I went to Girl Scout camp every summer. I loved it and I made friends that I still have today (more than 30 years later).

It was amazing and I had a lot of fun the 4 summers that I went (except the one where I had a seizure and ended up in the hospital!!).
I was one of the only kids with a pump at the time, which was pretty sweet because I got to do my own thing. :)

I have somewhat of a problem with alcohol?
when i go out to a bar, its gotten to the point where i dont know how to stop when i am to drunk. i recently started taking kudzu for it,, but anyway, my friend says to me, "i just get nauteous when i get to drunk thats how i know to stop" i WISSHHHHH (gosh u have no idea), that i would get nauteous when enough is enough. does anyone know why i dont get nauteous if ive had enough and she does? do u think she is at blackout levels when she is nauteous or do people just react differently to high levels of alcohol ( some vomit others dont)
I have somewhat of a problem with alcohol?
Fu*k it, all problems can be fixed with a drink, cheers
Reply:Start by alternating your drinks with water. It gets the alcohol into your bloodstream faster, and makes you drunker quicker.
If you want to drink less, bring cash. Don't run a tab. That way you have to stop. And for goodness sake, do not drive. Take a cab or designate a driver.
Reply:It is obvious that you have a drinking problem. From the sounds of your request, how you worded and spelled the words, you are young and immature. Anyone with a brain, however little, would know that you should stay far far away from bars. If you have friends that insist you go to these bars, well then maybe they do not have your best interest at heart. Your setting what you are going to be like when you get older by continuing going to bars. You can be young, but, still be smart at the same time.
Reply:Jumpin' Jeezuz, y'all be's f'd up!!
Reply:Everyone reacts differently to high levels of alcohol. If you have to ask about your drinking then it's already a problem. Try cutting back and if that doesn't work then quit. It's not worth ruining your life over. Women have all kinds of health repercussions that men don't get for a while. Look up what alcohol does to women in particular and it may scare you into making better decisions. Do your homework and take care of yourself. I recently cut my alcohol intake to one a night if that and feel so much better but not everybody can do that. If it ever got to the point I was at then I would stop entirely. I don't need it if it's going to cause problems. I never got nauseated.

Okay, so I have this huge oak tree.......?
It's very old, and I've always thought it had a kind of spirit, just in the way living things do. But when I'm out lifting weights, I have seen this figure looking at me. Ive been able to get a very good look at it. It's small, like a little person but has skin that looks like bark. If it catches me looking at it takes off into the tree and when I try to find it I can't. I've looked up Dryads but the only description I could find looked like a regular human being. Thing is, now I feel I have a responsibility to take care of this tree, hence cut out dead branches and kudzu, which I don't mind, but what the heck is this thing?
And please, no jerk answers, I'm not on drugs, even for weightlifting.
Okay, so I have this huge oak tree.......?
How lucky you are! The oak tree is the tree of truth. It is ancient and wise and has an old spirit. It was an important tree for the druids. The mistletoe of the oak tree has many magickal properties.
It is said that if there is a question in your heart that you cannot find the answer to then go to an oak tree and embrace it and ask the spirit of the oak tree to answer your question. The oakman will send you a prophetic dream.
You seem to have met the oakman! Take very good care of your tree and the oakman will reward you in life!
Reply:Get you some sleep. Once you have had plenty of rest go into the woods and look at the trees.
Do the trees in the woods require your help to maintain their existence? No.
Tree trimming only needs to be done to improve your impression of the tree. Cut out the dead wood but don't overdo it. You don't want to kill your tree.

I know it may sound a little silly but it is a neat little website and webcam. Take a look at the other peoples stories and you will see that you are not alone. Consider yourself lucky that you have this wonderful gift. Oh yea the tree does have a spirit all trees do some are simply stronger than others.
Reply:Next time, set up a camera to record yourself doing the weightlifting and when you see this thing appear and then disappear....then check out your video recorder.

Reply:Now, no one can claim that they have a definitive answer on this, because there are too many unexplained phenomena in this world.
However, since your spirit seems to be benevolent, i.e. your weights don't suddnely increase their weight, or your bench doesn't break, it would seem that you have a guardian spirit. Do take care of your tree, as it has seen fit to make its spirit known to you.
The Japanese, and also the Native American, believe that EVERYTHING has a spirit in it, and who's to say, that isn't so. As you care for your tree, keep an eye out for unusual sensations in the area of your tree. I have found that a tree with a spirit will be warmer to the touch, than a "normal" tree.

Should our daughters share a bedroom?
We have two daughters, an 8 year old and 4 year old. Right now, they are in their own rooms. My wife and I are thinking life might be easier if we put their beds in one room and their toys in one room. The new "toy" room would also hold all their school work which now overwhelms our office (my wife and I both have desks for us to work, but their schoolwork often takes over like kudzu).
So, has anyone had their daughters move into the same bedroom? Does it work or am I asking for more headaches? I don't want to have to split them up again in 6 months.
Should our daughters share a bedroom?
A perfectly sound and good idea. Practicality is always a must in the family unit and would give you the space for both your work and their projects.
However it would all depend on their relationship together or more so how the eight year old's emotions play a part not only in her feeling for her 'space' but how she relates to her little sibling.
The toddler will probably think it's a 'neat' idea so the important point will be the older girls views after discussing it with her.
If she is of a really gentle nature in herself and towards her little sister and can accomodate the move with genuine enthusiasm and support it from the family's point of view I would say you're okay for a balanced harmony for quite a while.
Just involve her in the decision because it is important.
Reply:Well, i am answering from the opposite end of the spectrum. I have to share a room with my sister who is eight years younger than me. Our room is very small, especially with two beds shoved in there. Putting your girls together should probably depend on a few different things...
first, if they get along pretty well, it will definitely make things easier. Also, if the room is small-ish; i would suggest getting bunk beds to take up less room.
You also might want to consider how long this arrangement is planned to last. Your elder daughter will soon be begging for privacy as she turns into a teenager.
hope this helped!
Reply:have them share the same bedroom, but have a dividing screen, so they can make the choice if they want to be together, or they their own privacy...i loved having my baby sister sharing with me, but we had a huge bedroom , and we both had our own space, which was important because we were 10 years apart!
but i was there when she had her nightmares, and her illnesses, and it worked so well.....
Reply:I don't see any reason why they can't share a room. If the room is large enough for each of them to have their own space. They can each choice how they want their part to look. You can even do something similar in the toy/play room for them. It will teach them how to share and get along. If they are doing well together now, then being in the same room after an adjustment period should work out.
My kids are in the same room and it works. For school work and play they also have an area other then the room for this.
Reply:Sharing works fine, I am one of 7 children and shared up unitl I was 16, I even shared with my brothers at times with a dividing curtain.
But have you considered just making them a study area in each of thier rooms, i.e. a desk in the corner, that way they keep thier privacy and have somewhere to study.
Reply:Been there, done that, and regretted it. It won't be long before your 8 year old wants her own space again.
Reply:My girls 8 %26amp; 9 share a room. They are either best friends or worst enemies. You can explain to your girls that they will be able to have their toys in one room and sleep in another and when they get on each others nerves then one can play in the room and one in the playroom. I would also suggest that maybe set up some time for your older daughter to play without her little sister, so she feels like she has her own space. Good Luck!
Reply:you should. especially at this age when they're still young. that way, they could probably bond more. because trust me, when they get older, your not going to see a whole lot of that bonding.
Reply:yes
Reply:I would say either leave them in their own rooms, or put them together but by the time the oldest reaches middle school, separate them again. =] Girls like privacy %26amp; space. =]
Reply:Why can't their personal rooms hold their personal stuff - desks for school work etc? If you are afraid of maybe having to split them again in 6 months surely that is a better solution.
On the other hand I quite successfully shared a room with 4 sisters for many years. It was a struggle at times, but we made it work and surely it wont be that bad for your two -eh?

Very invasive weed identification? Please help??!!?
The previous owners of our home planted a horribly invasive, vine-like plant (weed?) that virtually took over the rock and wood mulch area next to our driveway. Last summer it become a HUGE bush before we had time to even chop it back a little. The stems are kind of fibrous and very very strong, and they've even begun to grow in the gravel drive.
What in the world is this plant? I'm pretty sure it's not kudzu, as I live in eastern Washington and the deep freezes would kill kudzu (I think).
Help!!!!!
Here's some pics:

Trumpet vine. Paint leaves with undiluted roundup. http://images.search.yahoo.com/images/vi...
Reply:You don't say where you are in Eastern Washington, but contact your County Extension Service, or the Extension Service at WSU. They will be able to identify it, and tell you how to treat it.
Reply:Look like trumpet vine to me. Will produce red, tubular flowers. Hummingbirds love it. But if you turn your back on the stuff, it will eat your house.
Plus, it nearly takes nepalm to kill the stuff.
Reply:doesn't look like kudzu ,some type of ivy maybe ,dig and burn and dig or go get some roundup..............tom

Quiting alcohol?
hi i managed a week not drinking but went back to drinking thought it was allright to drink im drinking on efexor and noticed a shift in my mood its just to boredom gets to me last time i tried to quit my family were very suportive but not so much this time around but im going to start again i got some kudzu but havent tried it yet i just need some inspiration
Quiting alcohol?
There's more to it than just stopping. AA can and has been a lifesaver for thousands, if not millions.
Don't be alone in your efforts. Call AA.
Reply:you could go to a doctor and he can give you a benzo or an antidepressent that is used off-label to help people quit alcohol.
surround yourself with people who are supportive of your recovery.
talk to your family and friends honestly about how your alcohol use has affected them (probably negatively), and be open to what they have to say.
take up some fun hobbies to avoid boredom.
go to a support group or AA meeting.
Hang in there!! Something that helps me (recovering from alcohol and benzos) is to say to myself "What is the worst thing that will happen if I DON"T take that drink? I'll be exactly where I am now! And I shouldn't feel sorry for myself to justify drinking if I am in a bad mood."
Reply:Been there.
The obvious answer is to just stop - that is what most people will advise...but
The best thing to do is get a routine - one that keeps your day busy. If you do plan to have a drink, give yourself a limit and stick to it. Try a couple of drinks as a nightcap and go straight to bed.
And no cheating.
Reply:first u have to understand the root cause of this problem y u drink..just sit down and write down all the possible cause for it and than put it aside and read it next day and analyse r they really a cause? and stop thinking that u have to leave it cuz if u keep on forcing yourself than u will not able to leave it cuz it will alws remind of alcohol!!! just understand the root cause of it than it will automatically go u dont have to leave it...it will go itself..
Reply:You could go to a hypnotherapist - they can stop you from drinking in one or more sessions. Or, set a daily limit to yourself, keep to that limit. You have to be strong-willed in this situation! Good Luck!!
Reply:I hope my advise works but i see what your problem is. You can't quit cold turkey, you need to ease it out. If your an alcoholic then try and drink less alcohol each day and then eventually you can get used to drinking 1 glass a day then maybe try 1-3 glasses a week. Not big glasses, small glasses or normal sized ones. Try and tell yourself that you are doing this for you and your family. Drinking too much alcohol can damage your liver and give you liver disease.
I hope my advise works. Merry Xmas

Business question?
You would need to check with the local city hall and or the local courthouse as to what license's/permits etc you would have to get to do this type of work. Not sure about the age requirement, but here again, the local officials can give you the correct information. In some instances, you wouldn't actually need any type of license for certain handy man type jobs, but it's better to actually know all the requirements and be safe rather than sorry. Once you accomplish all of this, you can also go to http://www.craigslist.org and post a free ad to generate business.

Stupid Plants!!!!!!!!?
I need to find out the effects that kudzu has on humans, "other organisms" and ecosystems. Why did the crazy people at the 1976 worlds fair even hsve to import it in the first place! If those losers didn't even do that, I would'nt even have to do this project!
Stupid Plants!!!!!!!!?
Well, I work at a zoo and know the impact of kudzu on other organism. You see, kudzu is an invasive species, in other words, it has been moved to another environment where it never would normally be. It is a serious competitor with other plants and beats them in the race for water, sunlight and nutrients. By doing this, it can wipe out an entire species of plants. And without a certain species of plant, other organisms may not be able to survive. All in all, this plant is causing a fairly large chain reaction that could eventually lead to terrible things.
As to why those weirdos imported it, I can only say that we humans are always making stupid decisions and don't listen to sense. But if I ever meet the people that did it, they'll get an ear-full from me and my fellow zoo staff.
Good luck though.
Reply:I'm not sure about the question, but I love youre name b/c God is an awsome person!!

Joke::Hillbilly Valentine...?
Kudzu is green, My dog's name is Blue, And I'm so lucky to have a sweet thang like you.
Yore hair is like cornsilk, A-flapping in the breeze. Softer than Blue's, And without all them fleas.
You move like the bass, Which excite me in May. You ain't got no scales, But I luv you anyway.
You're as graceful as okry, Jist a-dancin' in the pan. Yo're as fragrant as SunDrop, Right out of the can.
You have all yore teeth, For which I am proud; I hold my head high when we're in a crowd.
On special occasions, when you shave yore armpits, Well, I'm in hawg heaven!
I'm plumb outta my wits. And speakin' of wits, You've got plenty fer shore. 'Cuz you married me, back in '74.
Still them fellers at work, They all want to know, What I did to deserve such a purty, young doe.
Like a good roll of duct tape, Yo're there fer yore man, To patch up life's troubles, And stick 'em in the can.
Yo're as strong as a four-wheeler, Racin' through the mud, Yet fragile as that sanger, Named Naomi Judd.
Yo're as cute as a junebug, A-buzzin' overhead. You ain't mean like no far ant, Upon which I oft' tread.
Cut from the best pattern, Like a flannel shirt of plaid, You sparked up my life, Like a Rattletrap shad.
When you hold me real tight, Like a padded gunrack, My life is complete; Ain't nuttin' I lack.
Yore complexion, it's perfection, Like the best vinyl sidin'. Despite all the years, Yore age, it keeps hidin'.
And when you get old, Like a '57 Chevy, Won't put you on blocks, And let grass grow up heavy.
Me 'n' you's like a Moon Pie, With a RC cold drank, We go together; Like a skunk goes with stank.
Some men, they buy chocolate, For Valentine's Day; They git it at Wal-Mart; It's romantic that way.
Some men git roses, On that special day From the cooler at Kroger; "That's impressive," I say.
Some men buy fine diamonds, From a flea market booth. "Diamonds are forever," They explain, suave and couth.
But for this man, honey, These will not do. For you are too special, You sweet thang you.

Tyler Durden's philosophy on life?
I'm just curious but for the people that have watched Fight Club, has his philosophy on life and anti consumerist view changed your life for the better, and also a side question, how many of you would want the vision of Tyler Durden's world to come true, y'know the description: In the world I see - you are stalking elk through the damp canyon forests around the ruins of Rockefeller Center. You'll wear leather clothes that will last you the rest of your life. You'll climb the wrist-thick kudzu vines that wrap the Sears Tower. And when you look down, you'll see tiny figures pounding corn, laying strips of venison on the empty car pool lane of some abandoned superhighway.
Sounds pretty cool to me, going back to a simple times none of this commerical bullshit, but who else thinks this?
Tyler Durden's philosophy on life?
The movie is also a look into dissociative thinking and schizophrenia. It taps into the ease in which, otherwise sane people, will blindly follow a lunatic -- like sheep to the slaughter.

Have you ever seen the movie Sneakers, with Robert Redford? That basically centers around a device that is THE code breaker when it comes to breaking UNBREAKABLE codes, like the ones the IRS and DOD uses, etc. Cryptography. Cool movie. You should see it. The bad dude wants to use it to wipe out all elements of ownership so that everyone will be the same = communism. Robert Redford is out to get the "little black box" back after it was taken from him after he, a "sneaker," stole it from the maker (a mathematician) planning to give it to the NSA who turns out to be some very bad people.
But, seriously, blowing up buildings isn't the way to go about it. We just got to learn to live paycheck to paycheck I guess and get a president who will develop universal healthcare, etc. The old West rules btw!
Reply:modern civilisations developed because people were trying to get away from the constant illness, frequent starvation and endemic violence which is inseparable from primitive simplicity.
chuck palahniuk tells people stories about how cool being a proto-cowboy would be, because he likes living a life of leisure as a part-time novelist and creative-writing teacher.
fifty years from today he will seem as silly as hopalong cassidy.

A Romantic Poem - Redneck Style?
Kudzu is green, my dog's name is Blue,
And I'm so lucky to have a sweet thang like you.
Yore hair is like cornsilk, a-flappin' in the breeze.
Softer than Blue's, and without all them fleas.
You have all yore teeth, for which I am proud;
I hold my head high when we're in a crowd.
On special occasions, when you shave yore armpits,
Well, I'm in hawg heaven! Plumb outta my wits!
Like a good roll of duct tape, yore there fer yore man,
To patch up life's troubles, and stick 'em in the can.
Yore as strong as a four-wheeler, racin' through the mud,
Yet fragile as that sanger, named Naomi Judd.
When you hold me real tight, like a padded gunrack,
My life is complete; ain't nuttin' I lack.
Yore complexion, it's perfection, like the best vinyl sidin'.
Despite all the years, yore age, it keeps hidin'.

Ah sayd that to mah gurl, Bessie Mae, and we got to doin' it all nite long.
Too bad mah uncle Jimbo caught us and sayd "Jeffrey, if you gonna do that wit yore cuzin Bessie Mae, you gotta get a Christian weddin' first".
Which was weird, 'cuz Ah thought we was brother and sister.

Dog Kennel in North Fulton?
I am looking for a kennel to leave our large puppy at for a week. I have looked at the Kudzu website and have some ideas but am now looking for some input from anyone that has used local kennels and may have recommendations
Dog Kennel in North Fulton?
I do not live in your area, but also have two large dogs that we have to kennel every now and then.
* Contact the local veternarians ask their advice. Some of them may offer this service as well.
* Look around you area for other people who have large dogs and ask them what they do when they go out of town.
* Contact your local Better Business Bureau or Chamber of Commerce, they may have some leads.
* Contact you local Animal Rescue Center or Fire Department as they may have contacts as well.
Good Luck
Reply:Thank you. It has been sometime since we have owned a dog. This is all very good advice and gives me some good places to start checking. Report It
